I was afraid I would wake up this morning and have some bad news to report. Lily Rose has gone up to heaven where she can be with her brother.

I don't know why I am so affected by this. But everyone following the dachshund puppy cam has been very emotional. Lily Rose was so sweet. It was sometimes difficult to watch her try to make it in this world. And sometimes it was so exciting when she would play or romp and you thought she might just make it. You could tell she was just wonderful. I think we all got to know Lily Rose well enough to miss her very much.
