Noodles is a seven-year-old dachshund living in the Springs. Three years ago, he lost the use of his back legs after herniating a disc.
Germantown Festival, 2009 “Running of the Weenies”

On Sunday, Sept 13th the annual Running of the Weenies Dachshund race takes place in the Horse Show Arena hosted by the Germantown Animal Shelter. This event featuring more than 100 dachshunds never fails to entertain and surprise and has become a well-known tradition and fund raiser for the Germantown Animal Shelter and other local charities.
