I had seen this story about a week before and hadn't posted it because all these "oldest dog" stories seem a little low on proof to me. Once there was a picture, I figured at least there was a cute picture to post. I always use words like "may be the oldest dog" on these stories because I just don't believe anyone has really done the research to find out. So thanks for posting that comment! Janelle says Max is in remarkably good shape. He suffers from cataracts, so he wears doggie goggles when he's out in the sun, and a touch of arthritis has slowed him down, but not by much.
