I haven't been posting much over the last few days because I've been incredibly busy. Kody has been so helpful. He's stopped barking and growling at every critter that walks by outside and he's let me work without interruption. This is amazing. I'm so thankful.
In return, now that he walks on a loose leash so much better, we go on a nice long walk in the evening. I'd rather do this in the morning, but lately there just hasn't been time. Not only is he better on a loose leash, but he looks at me when a bike goes by or a person approaches. That's amazing, we walk without barking at people, often even if they actually talk to us! I also noticed the other day that he was even good when another dog was in sight.
He'll catch a scent every so often that he needs to bark about. But without all the other barking, I can actually appreciate his excitement. He's been really great lately.
