I thought that today (the 5th of December) was the two year anniversary of getting Kody, but I checked my credit card bills for that trip to Petco we made that night, and it was actually the 2nd of December. But happy anniversary to us!

I started playing some Christmas music tonight and set up my Christmas decorations. Earlier I was listening to some of my old favorites like John Denver's Rocky Mountain Christmas and George Winston's December. I went online to see what was new and bought David Archuleta's Christmas from the Heart which I think is probably the best Christmas album ever made. I mean, his voice is perfect for Christmas music. It's just beautiful.

I'm listening through my Apple TV and when you listen to music it starts playing a slideshow of all your favorite pictures. So as I'm sitting here listening, pictures of Kody as a puppy, Kody with my Mom, and pictures of Kody playing with his brother, Flex, who we don't get to see anymore, are floating gently up the screen. With Kody sitting right next to me sleeping, it's quite an emotional experience.
