Yeah, they stay nearby because they feel that we can "fix" their issue, or at the least, we're a comfort to them when they need it. I think that his interest in a long walk is good, so he isn't in distress. Something just has to work through his system, be it some kind of "bug" or an item that he shouldn't have eaten. You might be surprised by something in his poo (if you see it!) in the next few days, like the time Oskar chewed our daughter's multi-striped sock!

Feel better Kody!

It's been weird. He has pooped a lot in the last two days but it's all very firm and healthy looking. I have an idea that he may have eaten a paper towel, but I'm not sure. He doesn't seem too sick, he eats his food but he's not interested in his bully stick or in reward treats.

Today we went on a long walk which he was very interested in. It was his idea, so he seems very healthy in some ways, but something is bothering him.

Also, if I get up, he's right behind me. It's almost like he's scared of something.

So sorry to read that Kody has an upset stomach! We just hate when that happens and do our best to figure out what the offending material could have been. Last week, Oskar found some of the bird suet that fell from the feeder and he just had to try some. Within the hour he was vomiting, so I gave him some of his medication once he settled down and eased up on the food the following day. We're convinced that our dog has a "crystal" digestive system!

Our best wishes for Kody's quick recovery!
