Oh man, it's been a long week. Kody doesn't get the root canal until next Monday but things to deal with and emotions are starting to calm down. I'm still fairly stressed, but I have a little better handle on the situation.
I've heard from lots of people about dogs and doctor bills and everyone says the same thing: it's worth it. I wasn't in doubt about that so much, but it gives me comfort to know others have had similar challenges and made it through happily.
So now that I'm calming down, I can see that Kody's trying his best to be happy. At the same time, he's not as likely to play and every once in a while I can see that he's in some sort of pain, so I'm really looking forward to Monday.
