Kody’s been dropped off and luckily he’s the first patient of the day so he won’t have a long time to wait and be nervous. He was pretty nervous though. I think I’m not very good at hiding my own concern. Once we got in the door, he started feeling a little better and went with the assistant without too much fuss.
If the tooth is too damaged to do a root canal, they will pull it. If there’s another tooth that needs work, they are going to call me. I hope there isn’t.
I’m definitely emotional about this, but my most major feeling is one of relief. Finally Kody’s going to just be okay again, and that is a major weight off my shoulders.
Sweet Kody, feel better soon! I’ll bet his mouth feels somewhat strange after the procedure, but to know the pain is gone will be a comfort to you both. Stay calm and relaxed, and you’ll both have a good recovery process.
