I got a call from the doctor and Kody has made it through his root canal. I'm going to pick him up in about an hour. The doctor said he did fine but, "Kody has his own opinions about how life works." So true. I'm guessing this means his other teeth were okay which is nice to know. I have made a note of all my questions in my iPhone so I don't forget them. You know how it is when you get someplace and then forget all the questions you were going to ask.
Like with humans, they make an impression of his tooth after the root canal which will be used to make the crown which will fit on top of what's left of the tooth. That will take a couple of weeks for a lab (a laboratory, not a Labrador, unless I'm mistaken) to make and then we'll go back in for the crown to be placed. This doesn't take very long, but I believe Kody will still need to be placed under anesthesia.
