Stolen Dachshund Returned to Shelter

Two women returned Ferris about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, said Boulder police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley. One of the women said received the dog from a friend, who received it from someone else but discovered she couldn't keep it because she wasn't allowed to have dogs in her home, Huntley said.

I guess if you were to enter a Wiener Dog Race you'd want to train. But what I'd really want is to train my dog to do the silliest thing possible when I let go of him. Like run in circles or jump over the other dogs. Or run as fast as he could to the finish and then stop a foot short and lay down.
