On Sunday, August 15th, 2010 not only were owners allowed to bring their dogs to a baseball game but dachshunds raced during the seventh inning stretch. This all took place at Dodd Stadium in Norwich Connecticut. Ballpark wieners fill stands, not stomachs

Sioux Falls German Fest 2009

All these events look so fun. I can't wait until Kody and I can go and bring you back photos. I don't know that there's a German festival in my area, but I think there must be. My Mom is from South Dakota, but we're Finnish, and I have been to Finn Fest.
But I always remember going to German festivals as a kid too, at least I think I remember that. I wonder if that's because of the South Dakota influence?
Dachshunds in tiny cowboy hats wandering the ranges of Wyoming. That's my dream at least.
